Project Weplar - Mobile Game | iOS & Android | May 2024 - Present

Using C# and the Unity Engine, my team and I are building a multiplayer game where you play as a mage that can engage in turn-based combat to have magic battles with other players.
Compared to my previous project, I am operating this one at very minimal to no cost – no money has been spent on developing game prototypes.
Tested 5 prototypes with focus groups to validate game features, which has made us pivot the initial game concept 2 times thus far.

Cyber - Mobile Game | Download On iOS | Download On Google Play | June 2022 - April 2024

Using C# and the Unity Engine, I created a mobile game that was trying to bring the best aspects of the looter-shooter genre over to the mobile platforms.
Led a team of freelancers during various stages of development, coordinating between game design, art and programming.
Released prototype in April 2023, iterated and launched demo in April 2024. Organically grew to 100+ downloads on each platform soon after launch. Received mixed reviews.

Wave - Mobile Application | Jan 2022 - May 2022

Contributed to building a mobile application with Java, allowing users to hire scooters around the city as a form of transport.
I led the user-side development team to implement user accounts and payment processing.
Our group scored 93% on project deliverables and I received an individual score of 90% for my project report.

Hyper Books - Web Application | Nov 2021 - Dec 2021

Built a full stack Python web application utilising Flask framework and SQLite relational database, allowing users to keep a personalised record of books and more.
Designed an intuitive and responsive user interface for the application with Bootstrap framework which enabled it to work with various screen configurations.
Polishing the application resulted in a PageSpeed Insights score of 91.

Tomeo - Desktop Application | Nov 2021 - Dec 2021

Built a functional video editor with a team of 4 using C++ and Qt framework.
I also designed the GUIs for the editor, and implemented functionality such as: editor timeline, video metadata/tagging, trimming/combining clips, rendering/exporting edits.
Our team scored 87% on project deliverables and I received 80% on my individual report.

VR For Mental Health - Technical Report | Nov 2021 - Dec 2021

Conducted individual research on how Virtual Reality could be used to treat mental health.
Collated and analysed numerous academic studies/papers to write a 1400-word report on issues relating to the topic and gave evidence-based projections for the next 10+ years.
The findings in my report were presented at a keynote speech to various leaders in the Healthcare industry - received commendation from speaker for my thorough research and analysis.

BB POS - Point Of Sale System | Project Report | June 2019 - March 2020

Developed a point-of-sale system for restaurants using Visual Basic and .NET framework.
The system covered routine functions like taking orders, storing/printing orders, cash and card payments etc.
Ranked in top 5 for best project within my year.
